Modpacks without the manual work
A modded server usually means an hour of downloading files, matching loader versions and finding out which mod refuses to start. Here you pick a modpack from the list in the panel, click “Install”, and the panel downloads the pack from Modrinth or CurseForge, sets the right loader and game version, and then starts the server. In the installer you will find All the Mods, RLCraft, Better Minecraft, Pixelmon, Cobblemon, SkyFactory and Create: Above and Beyond, among others.

Forge, Fabric or NeoForge
Forge
The largest mod library and the classic modpacks (1.7.10–1.20.1). Choose it if the pack you want is on Forge.
Fabric
A lightweight loader, quick support for new versions, great performance. Cobblemon, Fabulously Optimized and most packs for 1.21+.
NeoForge
The successor to Forge for 1.20.1 and newer. All the Mods 10 and the new large packs are moving this way.
You do not need to know this upfront: the modpack installer sets the loader itself. If you upload mods by hand, you pick the loader and version in the panel and put the mods in the mods folder through the file manager or SFTP.

How much RAM does a modpack server need?
Small packs (up to 50 mods) run on 4 GB, medium ones (50–150 mods) need 6–8 GB, and large ones like All the Mods 9/10 or GT: New Horizons need 10–12 GB. Allocate about 1 GB less to the server than the plan has, the rest goes to the system.
Can I upload my own modpack that is not on the list?
Yes. Set the engine (Forge, Fabric or NeoForge) to the right version and upload the mods to the mods folder through the file manager or SFTP.
Do players need the mods too?
With Forge, Fabric and NeoForge, yes, players need the same modpack on their side. The exception is server-side mods, which need nothing on the player's end.
Can I change the modpack without setting up a new server?
Yes. Make a backup, install another modpack from the panel and start the server. The old world stays in the backup.
